Bob Mclaughlin uses a snowblower to clear sidewalks in Longmont on Monday. The low Monday morning was 7 degrees, well below the average of 28 but not a record-setter. The record low for Oct. 26, of 1 degree above zero, came in 1997 at the end of a blizzard that dumped about 2 feet of snow on the area.
