Kirkwood Lane Fleck, aged 61, from Pasco, Washington passed away on December 26,

2023. He was a beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to so many. Kirk was born on January 23, 1962, in Bethesda, Maryland to Larry and Karen Fleck. His passion for American history began as a young child which led him to be the family historian who spent time researchin­g and learning about his family's past. Kirk also enjoyed raising, training, and running field trials with Brittany spaniels, and his love of dogs, hunting, and fishing was shared with family and friends.

After graduating from Brookfield, Connecticu­t High School in 1980, Kirk went on to study Agricultur­e at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. He remained a CSU Ram fan throughout his life and whenever he visited Colorado, you could find him walking the campus. Following his degree in Agricultur­e, he received his master's from Iowa State. He worked for 35 years at Roger Brother Seed

Company as a field representa­tive, which was later bought by Syngenta, and traveled the world with the company, particular­ly enjoying his time in Chile.

Kirk will be remembered for his knowledge and contributi­on to agricultur­e, his beautiful faith, family genealogy, love for travel, passion for bird dogs, telling jokes, and enjoying the moments most miss.

Kirk was a wonderful and loving big brother to Jeff Fleck, Brad Fleck, and Molly Secher. His parents, Larry and Karen Fleck, will have fond memories to last a lifetime. He was a beloved uncle to Kelsey Johns, Jordan Secher, Jake Secher, Tyler Fleck, Riley Fleck, Tanner Fleck, and Eva Fleck. Kirk left us all too soon, but will always be known, loved, and cherished by all of us.

Services will he held Jan. 22, 2:00 p.m. at Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Niwot - 9447 Niwot Road.
