Kucherov stars as Lightning beat the Flyers

Nikita Kucherov had three goals and an assist, and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Philadelph­ia Flyers 6-3 on Tuesday night.

Kucherov moved into the NHL lead with 80 points, continuing his battle with Colorado’s Nathan Mackinnon for the top spot.

Brayden Point and Brandon Hagel each had a goal and an assist as Tampa Bay won for the sixth time in seven games. Michael Eyssimont also scored, and Andrei Vasilevski­y made 29 stops.

York scored for Philadelph­ia, which has dropped three in a row. Cam Atkinson had a goal and an assist.

SENATORS 4, CANADIENS 1

Shane Pinto scored his first goal since he completed a 41-game suspension for activities related to sports wagering, and the Senators beat the Canadiens for the second time in six days.

Pinto lifted Ottawa to a 3-0 lead 6:22 into the second period. It also was Pinto’s first goal since he signed a contract with the Senators on Friday.

Ridly Greig, Jake Sanderson and Mathieu Joseph also scored for Ottawa, which won for the fourth time in six games. Joonas Korpisalo made 24 saves.

Johnathan Kovacevic, back in the lineup after three games as a healthy scratch, scored for Montreal, which lost its third game in a row. Jake Allen stopped 24 shots.

Roope Hintz had two goals and an assist, leading Dallas to the victory.

GOLDEN KNIGHTS 3, ISLANDERS 2

Adin Hill made 40 saves in his return from an injury, leading the Golden Knights to the win.

WILD 5, CAPITALS 3

Marcus Johansson scored twice, Joel Eriksson Ek and Marcus Foligno each had a goal and an assist, and Minnesota beat Washington.
