Anna (AnnF Rose ae jarco mannulla passed away at home very peacefully on Aug. 24, 2012.

phe was the daughter of the late Carmello jarco and Rosa Capizzi jarco, ftalian immigrants from picily who settled in the coalmining region of mittston, ma., and the widow of crancesco (crankF gohn mannulla, of mhiladelph­ia, ma., a torld tar ff veteran.

Ann will be greatly missed by her daughters, crances Roskow and Angela dotwalt; her sonsin-law, iarry Roskow and Ray dotwalt; her six grandchild­ren, puzanne bmmett, Alvin bmmett (jarianneF, jark bmmett, iawrence Roskow gr. (jelindaF, bric dotwalt (iauraF and Bryce Roskow; eight greatgrand­children; one greatgreat grandchild; her sisters-in law, volanda lrdine and iena aaniels; her brother-in law, Alexander (pamF mannullo; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Ann overcame a very difficult childhood, losing her mother at age 2. fn her teens, she attended the pleighton pchool for dirls in aelaware County, ma., where she found happiness among young women who had endured similar hardship. fn 193T, she married crank and became the matriarch of a household that included crank’s eight younger brothers and sisters, her father-in-law and soon, three daughters.

Ann took pride in her home and her care for her family, which was evidenced by her tireless devotion to cooking, sewing and cleaning. thile raising her family, Ann also worked outside the home as a factory worker.

Ann was preceded in death by her loving daughter jarie bmmett; her husband of R3 years, crank; a brother, Cataldo jarco, and many other dearly loved family members. Ann measured wealth by the minutes and hours spent in the company of her family and friends, and by that measure, she was truly blessed.

Ann was a member of eoly jartyrs Catholic Church in lreland, and a former member of pt. Rocco’s Church in mittston, eoly Rosary Church and pt. sincent’s Church in dermantown. Ann was a champion of her family and was concerned for the welfare of all children.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ann’s jass of Christian Burial Thursday, Aug. 30, 11W30 a.m., at eoly jartyrs RC Church, lreland, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. fnterment will be in eoly pepulchre Cemetery.
