Jacqueline W. Kane, 87, of Topton, PA, and formerly of Palm Coast, FL, Harleysvil­le, PA, Montvale and Teaneck NJ, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a resident for twelve years. She was the widow of Robert E. Kane, who died in 2000. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Jacqueline was the daughter of the late William Withee and Bernice (Chichester) Stevenson Gemp. Mrs. Kane was a graduate of Englewood Hospital School of Nursing, Englewood, NJ, where she then worked as a Registered Nurse. She also was employed as a Registered Nurse Account Representa­tive at Telerx Marketing, Inc., Horsham, PA. Jacqueline was a lifetime avid reader, and in later years she developed an interest in progressiv­e politics.

Survivors: Jacqueline is survived by her two daughters, Leigh C. Kane, and her husband, Rick Salafia, Kutztown and Robin A. Kane, and her wife, Melissa Lavinson, Washington, D.C.; three grandchild­ren, Ezra J. Kane-Salafia, Fiona B. Kane-Salafia and Bergen L. Kane; a brother, John Stevenson, St. Michaels, MD; and many nieces and nephews.

Services: In accordance with Jacqueline’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
