Vote for girls lacrosse player of the week

Online voting for the Varsity 845 girls lacrosse player of the week for April 8-14 is now open. Go to RecordOnli­ne.com/ sports and vote as often as you like until 11 p.m. on Saturday (no computer bot voting, please).

Nomination­s are pulled from reports to Varsity 845 and other sources. Players from Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties, plus Delaware Valley (Pa.) are eligible. One player per school is permitted during each week.

The winner will be announced via X / Twitter @Varsity845. Previous winners can become eligible again once the postseason has begun.

She posted four goals and three assists as the Raiders topped New Paltz 1606 on Friday.

Logan Barry, Minisink Valley

She scored five goals in a 12-5 win over Valley Central on Thursday.

Kiera Chatfield, Cornwall

She scored five goals for the Dragons in a 16-7 win over Roosevelt on Friday.

Addison Costello, Saugerties

One of her seven goals was the 100 th of her career and she added three assists in the Sawyers’ 17-15 setback to Pine Bush on Tuesday.

Meghan Doody, Goshen

She posted four goals and four assists as the Gladiators downed Rondout Valley 17-0 on Friday.

Kaitlyn Larney, Warwick

She scored five goals for the Wildcats in a 12-7 win over Pine Bush on Thursday.

Brooke Longo, Kingston

She scored five goals in the Tigers’ 16-1 win over Monroe-Woodbury on Saturday.

Lorena Rivera, Valley Central

She scored six goals in the Vikings’ 16-3 win at New Paltz on Tuesday.

Julia Tanner, Pine Bush

She scored five goals in the Bushmen’s 17-15 win at Saugerties on Thursday.
