RARE COMET VISIBLE IN JULY
The comet C/2020 F3, also known as NEOWISE, burns bright in the sky as wind turbines turn in the early morning wind near Highway 12. The comet is visible in the evening sky about an hour after sunset near the northwestern horizon and again just before sunrise in the northeastern sky. Reaching its closest point to Earth on July 22, the comet will not return for 7,000 years.
