Touro University California is inviting the public to attend their Summer 2020 Health Equity Series held via Zoom at noon over the next four Fridays.
All are welcome to attend this free event to learn more about the event where experts discuss the intersection of health equity, criminal justice, trauma and higher education.

• July 24: Police violence as a public health issue: a discussion with Alan Ceaser, PhD and Melissa Nold, JD on the intersection of police violence and toxic stress and trauma.
• July 31: Diversity in healthcare education: a discussion with Eduardo Velasco, MD, PhD, MSc on reducing health disparities by increasing diversity in the healthcare workforce.
• August 7: Stress and trauma impacts on health disparities: a discussion with members of the TUC Commission on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion on the need for trauma informed systems.
