League of Women Voters expands affairs program
Want to learn more about newsy topics such as worldwide supply chains and their relation to national security? China’s role in Africa? How international organizations deal with and adjust to the pandemic?
Then you will want to register for the League of Women Voters Solano County’s “Great Decisions” program, which has been expanded this year to have a countywide reach.
In a press release issued Monday, League spokeswoman Sandy Coury said the group’s Foreign Policy Association Great Decisions program has grown over the past 60 years into a “multidimensional global studies program and is America’s largest discussion program on world affairs.”
With the widespread use of Zoom, the League, which has offered the discussion series for several years and in collaboration with the Benicia Public Library, expanded access to the program “to all of Solano County,” she added in the prepared statement.

The two-hour online meetings begin at 7 p.m. Mondays starting Jan. 25 and continue for eight consecutive Mondays.
