Benicia High girls volleyball team concludes perfect DAL slate
The Benicia High School girls volleyball team completed a perfect Diablo Athletic League slate Thursday with a 25-12, 25-11, 2516 win over Clayton Valley Charter.
Isabella DeLeon finished with 14 kills and seven digs for the Panthers (21-6, 120), who are ranked No. 7 in Division II in the North Coast Section, according to maxpreps.com. Setter Brianna Biniak had a matchhigh 33 assists.
Victoria Caine had eight kills and three blocks and Dayna Ajari had seven kills, five aces and six digs. Sophia Mason added nine digs and three aces.
The NCS playoffs are expected to start on Wednesday. VINTAGE 3, AMERICAN CANYON0>> The American Canyon High girls volleyball team lost to Vintage 25-15, 25-20, 25-15 on Thursday in Vine Valley Athletic League play to conclude the regular season.
Alexa Berry finished with five kills and three blocks for the Wolves (1511, 5-7). Giselle Torres had four kills, two blocks and eight assists.
Arianna Pacheco had 18 digs and Tessa Castro had 12 digs. Nalani Bustos had 10 assists, and Madison Gramlich had two aces.
American Canyon is on the bubble of making the North Coast Section playoffs in Division II.

JV Girls Volleyball
AMERICAN CANYON 2. VINTAGE 1 >> The American Canyon JV volleyball team beat Vintage 23-25, 25-17, 16-14 on Thursday as the Wolves went 12-0 in league play and 25-3-1 overall.
Isabella Avila had three aces, 10 digs and eight kills and Adrienne Nicolas added two blocks, 11 digs and three kills. Vanessa Vidrales-Zarate had three aces, 21 digs and three kills.
Sophia Bernabe had 12 digs and eight assists, and Maleia Magaoay added three aces and five assists. Jasmine Gallegos had 26 digs and Keana Resultay added 21 digs.
Danielle Abuan had four digs and two kills and Isabella Trinidad had two digs and two kills. Ava Berry chipped in three aces, two blocks and six kills and Jaelyn Denina added two blocks and two kills.
