Cal Maritime offering Camp Keelhauler in June

Cal Maritime Athletics is offering Camp Keelhauler to the Cal Maritime community — the University's inaugural week-long on-campus youth summer camp.

The camp will take place from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. each day from June 20-24. Camp Keelhauler is the only local youth sports camp taking place that week.

For $50 per day, parents/guardians can dropoff campers before 8 a.m. or pick them up after 12:30 p.m.

Since space is limited, parents/guardians are encouraged to register their camper(s) in a timely manner. Camp registration also includes a t-shirt, sizes range from youth large through adult extra large. Camp Keelhauler will provide water, campers are encouraged to bring their own snacks.

A waiver form, signed by campers' parent/ guardian(s) is required before participating in any activities. Families can print and sign these forms in advance by clicking here or submitting completed copies in person before camp commences.

The first two days pf camp will take place at Bodnar Field with campers learning the rules and fundamentals of golf, soccer and other field sports, taught by Cal Maritime's head coaches. Action will shift to PEAC on Wednesday for a morning filled with basketball-specific drills, games and activities before returning to Bodnar Field on Thursday to play rugby and participate in additional outdoor competitions. The week will conclude on Friday at PEAC Pool with water polo drills, free swim and other aquatic-related activities.
