VPD to partner with Get Recruited Media

The Vallejo Police Department has announced a partnership with Get Recruited Media to bring digital recruitment to the city of Vallejo.

Get Recruited, a digital recruitment company founded by public safety professionals consisting of firefighters and police officers founded by JuDon Cherry and Dustin Robinson, specializes in public safety and college recruitment platforms. It uses education to create a creative community marketing presence. The platform aims to successfully navigate candidates through the hiring process at the VPD and prepare them for career success.

Prospective applicants will visit www.vpdrecruit. com and register to receive education and information regarding courses, test prep and the application process unique to the Vallejo Police Department. The department says this digital approach allows greater reach for the department and is in line with its mission to develop and promote a diverse, professional workforce.

The VPD and Get Recruited will work with high schools, colleges, non-profit organizations, social media influencers, and community activism groups to create a pipeline that increases awareness and education of the hiring process.
