EACC students earn awards at SkillsUSA Conference
East Arkansas Community College’s diesel technology students recently earned awards during the 2024 Arkansas SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference held in Hot Springs in April.
Mason White, diesel technology student of Wheatley was awarded a silver medal in the Diesel Equipment Technology competition.
Cody Forrester, EACC Secondary Career Center student from Wynne High School, won first place in the Fuel Economy
Station competition hosted by United Rentals in the Diesel Equipment Technology section. United Rentals also awarded prize drawings to EACC’s diesel technology students Gavin Blocker of Moro, Tristen Pike of Jonesboro, and Cody Forrester.
EACC offers a variety of career and technical programs including programs for high school students through the Secondary Career Center.
