COMMUNITY HOUSE OPENING SET FOR LATE FALL

Sanibel Community House renovations will likely finish in late November. The $3 million structural gutting and modernization along Periwinkle Way is to affirm its historical and cultural significance. Donations fund the project. The Community House opened in 1927, underwent restorations in the 1950s and '70s, says executive director Teresa Riska-Hall. Donations are still welcome.
