Billy R. Arnold

VAN BUREN - Billy R. Arnold, 41 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 in a local hospital. He was a bank manager for Arvest Bank in Van Buren. He was a graduate with honors as well as the Salutatorian at ITT in California, a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and of the Pentecostal faith. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday April 19, 2024 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his daughter Maddison Faith Arnold of Hot Springs; his parents Tim and Ruby Arnold of Van Buren, Doug Taylor and Sue Olmstead of Van Buren, and Mark Olmstead of Oak Harbor, Washington; one sister Ashley Olmstead of Van Buren; three brothers Corey Olmstead and wife Reily of Arlington, Washington, Kyle Arnold of Van Buren and Ryan Arnold and wife Torie Sparks of Van Buren; two nephews Barron and Miles of Van Buren; one soon-to-be-born niece Charli of Arlington, WA; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Billy’s family would like to thank all of his caregivers who have taken exceptional care of him over the past thirteen years, including his Aunts Tracy Miller and Terina Bickford and caregivers Lori, Charla, Lorna, Shannon, Sabrina, Beth, Nicole, Tonya, Rachel, Andrea, Shasta, Cherise and a host of others.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, 700 Jefferson Street.

Pallbearers will be Michael Spears, Doug Taylor, Brandon Clark, Jeremy Miller, Nathan Clark, Billy Archer, Trevor Bickford and Michael Munoz.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Olmstead, Corey Olmstead, Kyle Arnold and Ryan Arnold.
