Arcata Planning Commission
When: Second and fourth
Tuesdays of every month at 6 p.m.

• The commission will receive a report on the local coastal program and provide a recommendation.
• The commission will discuss a land-use amendment to the Cannabis Innovation Zone.

Blue Lake City Council
When: Fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

• The council will receive a presentation on the Blue Lake family needs assessment survey.
• The council will have a discussion on Blue Lake town square landscaping.
• The council will receive a presentation on a bike park for the Powers Creek District.

Fortuna City Council
When: First and third Monday of every month at 6 p.m. Where: The meeting can be viewed via Access Humboldt channels. • The council will consider a budget request for purchase of ballistics vests and equipment by the Fortuna Police Department. The purchase would be funded by an $8,000 withdrawal from the asset seizure fund.
• The council will hear a first reading of a cannabis violation ordinance. The proposed resolution would fine people $1,000 per day as long as the fine remained unabated.
• The council will discuss resuming in-person meetings.

Fortuna Planning Commission
When: Second and fourth

Redwood Coast Energy Authority
When: Fourth Thursday of each Zoom Where: month at https://us02web.zoom. Meetings at 3:30 p.m. are held via us/j/81972368051 • The board will receive an update on the microgrid project at the Humboldt County airport in McKinleyville. • The board will receive a report on grid reliability.

Trinidad City Council
When: Special meeting Sept. 22 at 6 p.m., special closed session meeting at 5 p.m. Where: The meetings will be held via Webex. • The council will meet in closed session to discuss litigation between the city and the Tsurai Ancestral Society. • During the 6 p.m. special meeting, there council will talk with the Yurok Tribe in a government-to-government meeting. Topics to be discussed include trails, land transfer and water for a casino.
