Editor’s note: The following is a list of the board, commission and council meetings that are scheduled in the coming week around Humboldt County.

Arcata City Council

When: First and third Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. Where: The meeting can be viewed on the city’s website, Access Humboldt channels or on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJYGp9zDP­dWMGtA0Btf­FX_A.

• The council will consider installing charging stations at the Arcata Community Center.

• The council will consider sending a letter of concern to Humboldt State on the hosting of San Jose State football players and staff. The agenda can be accessed online at http://arcataca.iqm2.com/Citizens/default.aspx.

College of the Redwoods Board of Trustees

When: First Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. Where: 7351 Tompkins Hill Road, Eureka

• The board will discuss a resolution “against racism and in support of an inclusive environmen­t for all.” The agenda can be accessed online at www.redwoods.edu/board.

Eureka City Council

When: First and third Tuesdays of the month at 6 p.m. Where: The meeting can be viewed on the city’s website or via Access Humboldt channels.

• During closed session at 5 p.m., the council will discuss existing litigation, a performanc­e evaluation for the city manager and labor negotiatio­ns.

• During the regular meeting, the council will discuss an agreement with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force for a drug and weapondete­ctingcanin­e.

• The council will consider an agreement with Sequoia Park Zoo for the veterinary care of California condors. • The council will discuss an ordinance that will allow for the abatement of nuisance properties.

• The council will discuss CRV buyback programs in the city.

Fortuna City Council

When: First and third Monday of every month at 6 p.m. Where: The meeting can be viewed on Access Humboldt channels.

• The council will discuss a pair of ordinances that could create $1,000 per day fines for commercial cannabis violations.

Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservati­on District

When: The second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m.

• The board will meet in closed session at 5 p.m. to discuss property negotiatio­ns including leases to Nordic Aquafarms and the Simpson Paper Co. During the regular meeting, the board will discuss a third amendment to the Nordic Aquafarms lease.

• The board will discuss current and potential future Humboldt Bay and Pacific Ocean discharge and intake infrastruc­ture.

Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District

• The board will meet in closed session at 1 p.m. to discuss anticipate­d litigation.

Humboldt County Board of Supervisor­s

When: Every Tuesday at 9 a.m. except for the fifth Tuesday of a month; special meeting on Monday at 9 a.m.

Where: The meeting can be viewed on the county’s website or Access Humboldt channels.

• During the special meeting, the board will discuss acquiring builders risk insurance for the juvenile hall project as required by the state until the project is complete.

• During the regular meeting on Tuesday, the board will consider four agreements with consulting firms to help the Planning and Building Department with cannabis planning projects.

• The board will discuss responses to grand jury reports.

• The board will discuss the acquisitio­n of a parcel for the Humboldt Bay Trail project.

• The board will discuss changes to the commercial cannabis land-use ordinance.

Rio Dell City Council

When: First and third Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m.

• The council will consider whether to sell the Chittenden property at 265 Ogle Ave. for $165,001.

• The council will consider whether to create an agreement between the city and the Humboldt County for storm damage repair of Monument Road.
