How the Giants will sell tickets to Oracle Park

- By Kerry Crowley

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. >> The Giants are still awaiting a green light from city officials in San Francisco to reopen Oracle Park to fans, but the organization is planning to alert season-ticket holders on Monday how they can reserve seats for upcoming games.

Season-ticket holders will be given the opportunity to purchase four-game packages or single-game tickets for seats that will be set up in socially distanced pods. The Giants have three different four-game packages available in April as the team hosts 13 games during the month.

Tickets to the April 9 home opener against the Rockies are not included in any of the three packages.

Fans who do not have a season-ticket package with the Giants who wish to attend games in April will need to monitor and purchase seats on secondary ticket markets such as StubHub in the coming weeks. Ticket sales are limited to California residents, but it is unclear how this will be enforced.

Ticket limits will be determined by a season package allotment, so fans who have 1-2 seat accounts will be allowed to purchase a two-seat pod for each game in a package. Fans who have 3-4 seat accounts will be allowed to purchase a fourseat pod for each game while fans with 5-6 seat accounts may purchase one four-seat pod plus one-two seat pod for each game in the package.

Fans who do not wish to secure four-game packages will have the ability to purchase single-game tickets to all April home games while supplies last. The Giants plan to tell seasonticket holders that single-game ticket inventory could be even more limited and that seats may not be available near their normal seating locations.
