Arcata Planning Commission
When: Second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 6 p.m.

• The commission will receive a presentation on the Local Area Formation Commission’s policies and procedures for land annexation.

Blue Lake City Council
When: Fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

• The council will receive a presentation from the Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District on the status of the former McNamara and Peepe mill on the contamination issues and potential impacts to the Mad River and the district’s collection wells.
• The council will appoint property negotiators for a potential ground lease and/or property sale. The city is currently negotiating with contractor company Danco Group. The agenda can be accessed online at http://bluelake.ca.gov/ city/council/agendas.
Humboldt County Board of Supervisors
When: Every Tuesday except for the fifth Tuesday of a month at 9 a.m.
Where: The meeting will be available via the board’s site: https://humboldt.legistar.com/ Calendar.aspx
• The board will receive a report from the county Department of Health and Human Services and other county staff on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic in Humboldt County.
• The board will hear a report from the Eureka Street Art Festival on using a wall on the I Street Courthouse for a mural.
• Under its consent calendar, the board will adopt an ordinance to amend the Humboldt County Code section relating to alarm system permitting and regulation.
• Under its consent calendar, the board will approve a memorandum of understanding with Hoopa’s K’ima:w Medical Center to supply a syringe disposal kiosk to reduce syringe litter.
• Under its consent calendar, the board will be approving repairs to storm damage on Mattole Road and Shively Road. Bids for these separate projects will be opened on April 20.
