We’ve lots of lessons to learn from the COVID 19 pandemic and our world will never be the same. The new normal is sort of a byword, it can be a joke. But maybe not: There’s lots of change that will stick with us through this pandemic. Not all of it is bad — for instance …

We are learning the Zoom and FaceTime calls are part of the wave of the future. Doctor visits, Bible studies, education, consults, and much more are going to be in the form of Skype, FaceTime, or Zoom calls. … Not a bad thing as it is an efficient way to communicate and easy to access and one does not have to drive to a location to engage with others. Good practice and efficient.

We are suffering less from FOMO which is the fear of missing out. So much for going out … eating out … going to shows or live concerts for now … or anything else that requires crowds. We need to lose the fear of missing out. Turns out we’re not missing all that much. This season is teaching us to be satisfied with what we have and the people we have it with … not a bad lesson.

Staying home more. Not a horrible idea! Think of the money you saved in your gas bills, restaurant costs, and other expenses by staying home and finding contentment there. Great opportunity to invest in your family and in your own property. Taking

pride in one’s space is a great opportunity that COVID 19 Pandemic has afforded us …

Finding that which satisfies … finding that which fulfills us. They are not things after all. People are the most valuable of all creation and we have the work at the opportunity of loving and serving them. This pandemic affords us the chance to become a reset to our lifestyles and our priorities! It’s about people. It’s about relationships. It’s about family!

It is time to simplify and commit and make your life consist of fewer things and people. It’s time to commit to something that’s valuable such as your family, your church, your home, you’re calling or career. It’s time to have direction and to rediscover your unique purpose for being here. It’s time for faith. It’s time to trust God with the outcome of everything. Since we don’t have that power… Faith is a great Direction to head in!

We need to pace ourselves, live our days at a better cadence and engage in few were things that we’re really committed to. Things that connect with our purpose for being here. We can all have more time, peace and more margin in our lives as we commit to embracing the reset and adapting to a new life. Thank you, COVID-19!
