Editor’s note: The following is a list of the board, commission and council meetings that are scheduled in the coming week around Humboldt County.

Arcata City Council

When: First and third Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m.

Where: The meeting will be available via Access Humboldt channel 10 and the city’s YouTube channel at https:// www.youtube.com/channel /UCJYGp9zDPdWMGtA0Bt fFX_A.

• The council may adopt a resolution to designate the Arcata Playhouse as the city’s local arts agency.

• The council is scheduled to receive an update and provide further direction on the city’s

American Rescue Plan Act priority projects.

• The council will consider an ordinance amending purchasing procedures.

• The council is scheduled to receive updates on the safe parking project and the Aldergrove Marsh restoration projects, among others.

Eureka City Council

When: First and third Tuesdays of the month at 6 p.m.

Where: The meeting will be available via cable channel 10 and the city’s website at http://www. ci.eureka.ca.gov/.

• The council is scheduled to hold a public hearing on ward boundaries and possibly introduce an ordinance outlining new ward boundaries.

• The council is scheduled to consider a city resolution in support of single-payer bills for health care reform.

Eureka Economic Development Commission

When: Third Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m.

Where: Eureka City Council chambers, 531 K Street, Eureka

• The commission is scheduled to receive a presentation on the harbor district’s upcoming projects.

• The commission is scheduled to receive a presentation on vacant structure problems and solutions.

Ferndale City Council

When: Third Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m.
