Arcata (1690 Janes Road): St. Mary’s will celebrate a Thanksgiving Day Mass at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

All monetary and nonperishable food donations at this Mass will be given to the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Facility in Eureka. An outdoor Saturday Vigil Mass is set for 4 p.m. and two indoor Masses Sunday at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Weekday indoor morning masses are held Tuesday through Friday at 8:30a.m. Those attending indoor Mass must wear a face mask, practice social distancing and be free of COVID-19 symptoms. Bayside (24 Fellowship Way): “Practicing Thanksgiving” will be the topic explored by the Rev. Peter Farriday in an 11 a.m. hybrid service on Sunday. This service will consider ideas and practices that help one live with constant gratitude. Farriday will also discuss the observance of Native American Heritage Day on Nov. 26.
