Rio Dell to discuss earthquake recovery

Arcata City Council
When: First and third Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m.
Where: City Hall Council Chamber: 736 F St, Arcata. The meeting can be viewed on the city’s website, the city’s YouTube page or via Access Humboldt channels.
• The council will consider an ordinance on short-stay vacation rentals.
• The council will consider an ordinance on the permitting of electric vehicle charging stations in the municipal code.
• The council will receive an update on the city’s trail system.
• The council will consider a resolution on implementing an emergency homebuyer assistance program.

Humboldt County Board of Supervisors
When: Tuesday at 9 a.m. Where: Supervisors chambers, 825 Fifth St., Eureka. The meeting can be viewed on the county’s website or via Access Humboldt channels.
• The board will consider approving closures for the Avenue of the Giants marathon.
• The board will consider approving a notice of vacancy for an at-large position on the Humboldt County Planning Commission.
• The board will receive a presentation from Life Plan Humboldt and consider a letter of support for funding.
• The board will hear a report on Workplace 2030.

Humboldt County Human Rights Commission
When: First Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

• The board will consider a contract between
the McKinleyville Community Services District and the McKinleyville Chamber of Commerce for beautification along Central Avenue.
• The board will discuss the Central Avenue water and sewer rehabilitation project.

Rio Dell City Council
