Lost Coast adds three new beer varieties

Lost Coast Brewery launched three new beers locally, nationally, and globally, the company announced in a news release.

“Lost Coast Brewery continues to challenge itself to the ever-changing consumer habits on liquid and packaging formats. Our Mosaic Hazy IPA is drinkable and refreshing meeting today’s IPA expectations. And by introducing this product in 4 pack x 16oz cans, we believe that we have also met the needs of our wholesaler and retailer partners for packaging format,” Briar Bush, the senior sales manager at Lost Coast Brewery, said in a prepared statement. “With 33 years of continued innovations with liquid, packaging art and new packaging formats, our distributors are thrilled with these three new beers and look forward to high-volume sales.”

All of these new beers are available at either of their two Eureka locations and at grocery stores.

Arcata Chamber announces leadership awards dinner

The 2023 Arcata Chamber leadership awards dinner and auction is set for Feb. 18 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Arcata Community Center. Tickets are $85 per person.

“Enjoy an evening of wine, dining, and entertainment as you recognize the outstanding contributions your peers have made to the Arcata community,” a news release from the chamber stated.

The dinner will be catered by Mother’s Cooking Experience and musical entertainment will be provided by Young and Lovely, a jazz quintet consisting of the three Penner siblings: Devin, Brianna, and Elisa.
