What’s in My Bag?

The Today host jokes her Clare V. is a “trash bag” stuffed with everything

- Still Life by: Shana Novak

Savannah Guthrie likes to be reminded of where she came from. “I have a humongous keychain with keys going back five apartments,” the coauthor of Princesses Save the World (out now), 46, tells Us. “I probably have my keys from [when I worked in] Washington, D.C.” The mom to Vale, 4, and Charles, 22 months (with husband Michael Feldman, 50), opens up.

HER BIG ITCH

“I have cortisone cream because over Labor Day I got so many mosquito bites. It’s weeks later, and I still can’t stop scratching them!”

MAD FOR MONOGRAMS

“My phone case is from Minnie and Emma with my initials on it. It’s helpful on the Today set because everyone’s phones look alike.”

FRESHEN UP

“White Tic Tacs are my favorite, even though they make me sneeze.”

QUICK KICK

“I’ve been eating a lot of hard-boiled eggs. So I carry around Jennifer Fisher’s Universal Salt. It’s salt with all kinds of flavorings.”

TUNE IT OUT

“Number one thing I always bring on a plane are earplugs. They cut out every sound. I put them in and it’s night-night.”

MANE ATTRACTION

“I love By Lilla ponytail holders. You can wear them as bracelets. Ten times a day I grab one off my wrist.”
