Being Biermann

Bravo’s version of The Brady Bunch is back for its seventh season

- SARAH HEARON

Kim Zolciak, Kroy Biermann and their six kids — Brielle, 22, Ariana, 17, KJ, 7, Kash, 6, and 5-year-old twins Kane and Kaia — are back for more family antics in season 7 of Don’t Be Tardy (Feb. 17, 9 p.m.).

“In a perfect world, all my kids would live with me for the rest of my life,” says Kim, who got her start in reality TV on The Real Housewives of Atlanta over a decade ago.

“My ultimate goal is to have a street that we all have our houses on, and we all live happily ever after.” Kim catches up with Us. How do you and Kroy keep your kids grounded while raising them on TV? KZ Kroy runs a very tight ship. I’m the “yes” parent and he’s the “no” parent, and we always tend to meet in the middle… I think communication is key — we’re a very humble and open family. Is there anything you won’t let Bravo’s cameras see? KZ If my kids came to me and said they were uncomfortable with something, of course I wouldn’t film that. But there’s really nothing off-limits. Even the sex talk? KZ We’re very open with the sex talk. I feel like you have to be. My parents weren’t with me, and I definitely want my girls to come to me when they have a question versus asking a friend or turning to the internet. How do you protect your kids — and yourself — from the haters online? KZ People can be so mean. I’ve always had to kind of monitor Ariana’s social media because she’s a lot more sensitive than Brielle. What people comment on my feed — you don’t like my lips or you think I’m fat — it ultimately has no bearing on me. I would never be where I am today if I listened to all the haters.
