WEDDING BLISS!

The sweet duo are pulling out all the stops as they gear up to finally say “I do”

The rings! The guest list! The venue! Us has all the details on Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s future nuptials.

He’s a little bit country, she’s a little bit rock & roll — and together, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may just be the cutest celebrity couple of all time. “They really do complete each other,” one source tells Us. “Blake adores Gwen, and she loves how protected and special he makes her feel. And Gwen’s patient and supportive, and challenges Blake to be a better person. It’s really sweet to see.”

The crazy-inlove couple have been ready to take things to the next level for some time, as Us has previously reported. And now they’re knee-deep in planning their nuptials and can’t wait to throw what’s sure to be the wedding of the year! Well, make that two weddings: The 44-year-old country crooner and the mom of three, 50, are set to tie the knot twice, with one ceremony in Tishomingo, Okla., where Shelton owns a 1,300-acre ranch, and another in L.A., near their new $13.2 million mansion. “These will be the two most special days of their lives,” says the source, “so they’re going all out.”

THE DETAILS

As of right now, the lovebirds are shooting for a July or August wedding date, though they’re still hammering out the logistics. “It all depends on the availability of certain family members and friends,” the source says. “They’re keen to make it happen as soon as possible, but it won’t be the end of the world if they

have to move things back till the fall.”

The coronavirus pandemic could also cause delays, says a second source. Stefani and Shelton want to ensure that all their loved ones can safely attend before setting anything in stone. “They’ve waited this long, they don’t want to celebrate without their family and friends,” the second source explains. “It’s going to be a very, very big party.”

First, they’ll do a small, intimate church ceremony in L.A., with a reception afterward, the second source says. Stefani’s holding out hope that the Catholic Church will grant her an annulment from ex-husband Gavin Rossdale (father of her kids, Kingston, 14, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 6). Then a second ceremony — with a big blowout celebration — will follow in Tishomingo. “Oklahoma gives the couple more privacy,” says the second source, “and the possibilities are endless for a wedding reception people will talk about for years.”

PRETTY PENNY

Throwing two epic bashes won’t be cheap, but money’s no object for Stefani and Shelton. “They’ve set aside $5 million for each location,” says the first source. “They want the best of the best and don’t care what it costs.” They’ll be flying guests in on private jets, hiring top caterers and buying gifts for the bridal party.

Then they have the honeymoon to plan. Us previously reported that the couple would like to hit up a tropical island like Fiji or somewhere in the Bahamas. Also on the tab? Stefani’s wedding wardrobe and their rings — the second source says that details about the style icon’s dress “are a closely guarded secret” and that Shelton’s already picked out a ring for Stefani.

SPECIAL TOUCHES

Stefani’s already taken the lead on most of the decision-making, and they’ve hired a wedding planner to help execute the plans. “Gwen’s running the show,” says the first source, “but Blake’s involved, too, and is adding a few of his own touches where appropriate” — like choosing the theme, which he wants to have a distinctly Southern feel. “Expect plenty of homestyle favorites — like barbecue, grits and pies — along with barrels of beer and classic recipes he’s grown up with,” the source says.

They’re thinking of inviting about 200 guests, including some of the biggest Hollywood stars (see box for more on their A-list attendees). Not surprisingly, the first source says, their famous exes, Rossdale and Miranda Lambert (Shelton and the fellow country star divorced in 2015), won’t make the cut. But of course, Stefani’s sons will be a big part of the festivities. “Gwen’s kids will be very involved in the wedding,” the second source says. “Blake’s planning to do something very special to acknowledge that he’s not just marrying Gwen, he’s beginning a new family.”

TRUE SOULMATES

After nearly five blissful years together, the pair are anxious to finally become husband and wife. But in the meantime, they’re busy enjoying their life while things are moving a bit more slowly. Stefani recently sang Shelton’s praises on Instagram, first wishing him a happy birthday, then a few days later, on Father’s Day, thanking him for helping her raise her three sons.

As for potential cold feet or wedding-day jitters, it seems there won’t be any of that: “Sure, like any normal couple, they have their moments,” says the first source. “But they’re always able to resolve their issues with calm communication. The depth of love they feel for each other is on another level.”

GWEN AND BLAKE ARE DETERMINED TO BE MARRIED — PLANS HAVE BEEN UNDER WAY FOR SOME TIME NOW.”
