WHAT THEY KNOW CURTIS “50 CENT” JACKSON
These stars have alluded to Combs’ alleged bad behavior over the years
JENNIFER LOPEZ
“It was the first time I was with someone who wasn’t faithful,” Lopez said of Combs, whom she dated from 1999 to 2001. She was also arrested with the rapper in 1999 following a shooting at an NYC nightclub but was released from custody without being charged.
USHER
The R&B star opened up in 2016 about living with his mentor for a year when he was 13. “[There were] very curious things taking place,” he told Howard Stern in a 2016 interview. “I don’t know if I could indulge and understand what I was even looking at. It was pretty
wild.”
WENDY WILLIAMS
In her 2004 book, The Wendy Williams Experience, she accused Diddy of “single-handedly trying to ruin my career.” Years later, she hinted she was fired from Hot 97 for speculating about Combs’ sexuality: “[I] was practically burned at the stake
for talking.” The rapper has a long-standing feud with Combs and insinuated he was involved in the 1997 murder of Tupac Shakur. His ex Daphne Joy was named a sex worker employed by Combs in Jones’ lawsuit, prompting Jackson to seek sole custody of their son, Sire, 12.
KIMORA LEE SIMMONS
After Cassie filed her lawsuit, Simmons posted a cryptic story to her Instagram account saying, “As you sow, so shall you reap.” (In a resurfaced 2004 interview, the Baby Phat founder also said that Combs once threatened to hit her while she was pregnant.)
AUBREY O’DAY
In 2022, the singer — a former member of Danity Kane, the girl group Combs formed on Making the Band and who’s long butted heads with the rapper — claimed she was fired because she “wasn’t willing to do what was expected of [her] — not talent-wise, but
in other areas.”
