Delegate party kicks it old school

Black delegates, saying previous GOP conventions have been “excruciatingly boring,” organized an old- school hip- hop party to liven things up.

“This is a party for a purpose,” said C. J. Jordan, deputy director of political and community affairs for the Republican National Convention.

Outside Mabel’s BBQ in downtown Cleveland, the party’s organizers lined up to talk about the need for bipartisan criminal justice changes.
