Jude Abbadessa went 5- for- 5 with six RBI to lead Endwell, N. Y., past Bowling Green, Ky., 13- 10 Wednesday for a place in the U. S. championship game of the Little League World Series. Abbadessa hit a two- run homer to center field to give New York a 4- 3 lead in the second inning in South Williamsport, Pa.
RJ Moore hit a go- ahead three- run homer in a six- run fourth inning as Goodlettsville, Tenn., beat Johnston, Iowa, 14- 3 in five innings in an elimination game. Goodlettsville will play Bowling Green on Thursday.
Esmith Pineda smashed a go- ahead three- run homer in the fifth inning as Panama beat South Korea 3- 2 for a spot in the international championship game. It was the first loss for South Korea in 14 LLWS games.
Jose Angel Leal struck out 10 batters in 32⁄3 innings as Mexico routed Australia 10- 0 in four innings in an elimination game.
