RUMSFELD NOT CONCERNED IF BUSH 41 BACKS CLINTON
Reports surfaced this past week that former president George H. W. Bush has said privately he planned to cross party lines and vote for Hillary Clinton in November. Another prominent Republican, Donald Rumsfeld, apparently isn’t fazed, though.
“He’s up in years,” the 84- yearold former Defense secretary said of the 92- year- old Bush on MSNBC on Thursday. “He obviously comes from a totally different cut than Donald Trump,” Rumsfeld added.
In June, Rumsfeld said he was “clearly going to vote” for Trump, calling the GOP presidential nominee “a known unknown.”
