TWO WOMEN FACE MURDER CHARGES OVER NAM'S DEATH

-

Two women accused of fatally attacking Kim Jong Nam, the half brother of North Korea’s leader, with VX nerve agent were charged with murder Wednesday, the Associated Press reported.

If convicted, Indonesian Siti Aisyah, 25, and Doan Thi Huong of Vietnam, 28, could face the death penalty.

The women did not enter pleas because the magistrate court where they appeared has no jurisdiction over a murder case, the AP reported. Lead prosecutor Iskander Ahmad told the court he will ask for the case to be trans- ferred to a higher court and for both women to be tried together.
