The 2017 American Family Insurance All- USA preseason football team was selected by USA TODAY Sports’ Jim Halley based on past performanc­es and coach and scouting analyst recommenda­tions. OFFENSE

Justin Fields, QB, 6- 3, 221, Harrison ( Kennesaw, Ga.) Completed 147 of 213 passes for 2,253 yards and 18 touchdowns. Ran for 977 yards and 14 TDs. Trevor Lawrence, QB, 6- 6, 196, Cartersvil­le ( Ga.)

Clemson commit completed 250 of 406 passes for 3,904 yards and 51 touchdowns, leading team to AAAA state title. Lorenzo Lingard, RB, 6- 0, 190, University ( Orange City, Fla.)

Miami ( Fla.) commit ran for 1,418 yards and 22 TDs on 130 carries ( 10.9 yards per carry). Geno Hess, RB, 5- 10, 180, Peoria ( Ill.)

Led team to state 5A title, running for 2,812 yards and 44 TDs on 331 carries, an average of 8.5 yards per carry. Tariq Reid, RB, 5- 10, 205, Davison ( Mich.)

Ran for 2,064 yards and 37 TDs on 224 carries, a 9.2 yards per carry average. Draycen Hall, RB, 5- 8, 160, Higley ( Gilbert, Ariz.)

An all- purpose yards whiz, he piled up 2,298 yards and 29 TDs rushing, 641 yards and six TDs receiving and 666 yards and five TDs on kickoff returns. La’damian Webb, RB, 5- 9, 190, Beauregard ( Opelika, Ala.)

Mississipp­i State commit ran for 3,242 yards and a state- record 49 TDs, leading Beauregard in the state 5A championsh­ip game with 359 yards and five TDs. Zamir White, RB, 6- 1, 220, Scotland County ( Laurinburg, N. C.)

Georgia commit ran 175 times for 1,693 yards and 26 touchdowns, an average of 9.7 yards per carry. Amon- Ra St. Brown, WR, 5- 11, 191, Mater Dei ( Santa Ana, Calif.)

Had 60 catches for 1,229 yards and 21 touchdowns. Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, 6- 2, 192, Parkway ( Bossier City, La.)

Had 55 catches for 1,250 yards and 15 touchdowns. Brennan Eagles, WR, 6- 3, 214, Alief Taylor ( Houston)

Texas commit had 55 catches for 1,069 yards and 13 TDs. Justyn Ross, WR, 6- 4, 192, Central ( Phenix City, Ala.)

Had 38 catches for 663 yards and eight TDs, averaging 17.4 yards per catch. Devonta Jason, WR, 6- 2, 211, Landry- Walker ( New Orleans)

Kansas commit had 51 catches for 1,018 yards and 17 TDs, helping the school win the 5A state title. * David Bell, WR, 6- 2, 185, Warren Central ( Indianapol­is)

Junior had 68 catches for 1,201 yards and 17 TDs. Brevin Jordan, TE, 6- 3, 250, Bishop Gorman ( Las Vegas)

Miami ( Fla.) commit had 27 catches for 501 yards and nine TDs. Jamaree Salyer, OL, 6- 4, 342, Pace Academy ( Atlanta)

Two- time All- State player was the most dominant offensive lineman at Nike’s The Opening. Jackson Carman, OL, 6- 6, 346, Fairfield ( Ohio)

Division I All- State player is considered the top prospect in the state. * Kardell Thomas, 6- 4, 320, Southern University Lab ( Baton Rouge)

Junior is an LSU commit who is nicknamed Mr. Pancake and runs a 5.68second 40- yard dash. Cade Mays, OL, 6- 5, 305, Knoxville ( Tenn.) Catholic

Tennessee commit is a two- way lineman and son of former Vols OL Kevin Mays and was the 4A Mr. Football lineman of the year. Brey Walker, OL, 6- 7, 320, Westmoore ( Oklahoma City)

Oklahoma commit bench- presses 500 pounds, squats 600 and is a 6A state wrestling champ. Trey Hill, OL, 6- 3, 346, Houston County ( Warner Robins, Ga.)

AAAAA All- State player power cleans 335 pounds and can dunk a basketball. Penei Sewell, OL, 6- 4, 349, Desert Hills, ( St. George, Utah)

All- State player helped lead the school to the 3A state title. Has two brothers who play for Nevada. Richard Gouraige, OL, 6- 5, 271, Cambridge Christian ( Tampa)

Two- way lineman is a two- time 2A All- State player. Bubba Baxa, K, 6- 0, 195, Pasadena ( Texas) Memorial

Miami ( Fla.) commit hit a 70- yard field goal in practice and averaged 41.8 yards a punt.

DEFENSE

Xavier Thomas, DL, 6- 3, 263, IMG Academy ( Bradenton, Fla.) Clemson commit had 131 tackles and seven sacks at Wilson ( Florence, S. C.). Micah Parsons, DL, 6- 3, 235, Harrisburg ( Pa.)

Had 69 tackles, with 29 solos and 20 tackles for losses with 131⁄ sacks. 2 Taron Vincent, DL, 6- 2, 285, IMG Academy ( Bradenton, Fla.)

Ohio State commit had 92 tackles, with 10 for losses and five sacks. He is the son of former NFL DB and current NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent. Brenton Cox, DL, 6- 4, 237, Stockbridg­e ( Ga.)

Ohio State commit had 75 tackles with 18 sacks. K. J. Henry, DL, 6- 5, 235, West Forsyth ( Clemmons, N. C.)

Had 17 sacks and six blocked punts. Max Wright, DL, 6- 4, 270, Taylor ( Katy, Texas)

Texas A& M commit had 75 tackles with 18 for losses and nine sacks. * Zach Harrison, DL, 6- 6, 240, Olentangy Orange ( Lewis Center, Ohio) Junior had 32 tackles, with 11 tackles for losses and six sacks. * Kayvon Thibodeaux, DL, 6- 5, 235, Oaks Christian ( Westlake Village, Calif.) Junior had 27 tackles for losses and 17 sacks. * Nolan Smith, DL, 6- 3, 223, IMG Academy ( Bradenton, Fla.)

Georgia commit, a junior, had 74 tackles with 16 for losses and 12 sacks last year at Calvary Day ( Savannah, Ga.). Andrew Chatfield, LB, 6- 2, 221, American Heritage ( Plantation, Fla.)

Had 81 tackles and 241⁄ sacks. 2 J. J. Peterson, LB, 6- 1, 210, Colquitt County ( Moultrie, Ga.) Hadble recoveries­59 tackles, and 651⁄ 408 2 sacks,all- purposethr­ee fumyards on offense. Palaie Gaoteote, LB, 6- 2, 235, Bishop Gorman ( Las Vegas)

Southern California commit had 68 tackles with 11 tackles for losses and 21⁄ sacks. 2 Solomon Tuliaupupu, LB, 6- 2, 220, Mater Dei ( Santa Ana, Calif.)

Had 126 tackles, 64 solo, 18 tackles for losses, two sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. Teradja Mitchell, LB, 6- 2, 243, Bishop Sullivan ( Virginia Beach)

Ohio State commit had 106 tackles, with three sacks and 12 QB hurries. Dallas Gant, LB, 6- 3, 235, St. John’s Jesuit ( Toledo, Ohio)

Ohio State commit had 56 tackles, 32 assists, one sack and seven tackles for losses. Patrick Surtain Jr., DB, 6- 2, 181, American Heritage ( Plantation, Fla.)

Son of a former all- pro DB, he had two intercepti­ons, 12 pass breakups, two punt- return TDs and three fumble recoveries and helped lead the school to the 5A state title. Anthony Cook, DB, 6- 0, 168, Lamar ( Houston)

Had four intercepti­ons for 11- 2 team. Brendan Radley- Hiles, DB, 5- 10, 183, IMG Academy ( Bradenton, Fla.)

Nebraska commit had 54 tackles, two sacks and two intercepti­ons at Calabasas, Calif. Also had 51 catches for 806 yards and 10 TDs. Isaac Taylor- Stuart, DB, 6- 2, 187, Helix ( San Diego)

Had 41 tackles with a sack, an intercepti­on and nine pass breakups at St. Augustine ( San Diego). Also had 754 all- purpose yards on offense and ran the fastest 40- yard dash at The Opening. Tyson Campbell, DB, 6- 2, 180, American Heritage ( Plantation, Fla.)

Had two intercepti­ons, 40 tackles and eight pass breakups and won the state 100 and 200 meters. Caden Sterns, DB, 6- 1, 192, Steele ( Cibolo, Texas)

Texas commit had 82 tackles, six pass breakups and four intercepti­ons, returning two for TDs, and helped lead school to the 6A- I title game. Jaiden Woodbey, DB, 6- 2, 204, St. John Bosco ( Bellflower, Calif.)

Ohio State commit had 70 tackles and 4 intercepti­ons for the state champs. Anthony Lytton, DB, 5- 10, 173, Henry Wise ( Upper Marlboro, Md.)

Florida State commit had 100 tackles and seven intercepti­ons to help the school win the 4A state title. Jake Camarda, K- P, 6- 2, 175, Norcross ( Ga.)

Georgia commit averaged 41.5 yards per punt, and 54 of his 64 kickoffs were touchbacks. Had three field goals, the longest a 48- yarder.
