HOW WAS YOUR DAY?
GOOD DAY STAR WARS FANS
As it turns out, the real title of the untitled young Han Solo film was there the whole time. On the final day of production Tuesday, director Ron Howard shared the retro logo for ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story,’ a fitting name for the spinoff “anthology” project starring Alden Ehrenreich as the iconic smuggler in a galaxy far, far away. Set before the events of the George Lucas’ original trilogy, Solo is set to hit theaters May 25 and features a cast including Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke.
BAD DAY ELTON JOHN FANS
Elton John will be pushing back from his piano at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for the last time next year. The 70-year-old singer’s final performance of The Million Dollar Piano will be on May 19 after more than 200 shows. It is John’s second residency at Caesars Palace. His The Red Piano shows ran from 2004 through 2009. Tickets for the final block of performances go on sale Sunday.
THEY SAID WHAT? THE STARS’ BEST QUOTES
“In many ways, I think I have used my career as a therapy session in life. It has been, I think, tremendously beneficial for me to get into roles that are sometimes disturbing, and to be able to purge my darker side into the character and have a cathartic release.” — Bryan Cranston to Esquire in an interview published Wednesday
