Taylor Swift shouldn't talk politics

Singer Taylor Swift endorsed two Democratic congressional nominees in Tennessee on her Instagram account. According to Vote.org, her post has inspired a surge in voter registration. I don’t really care what celebrities think when it comes to politics. If I want to hear or know about that I will tune in to CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, local news, etc. When it comes to celebrities, they should just entertain. I couldn’t care less which side they’re on. Beth McGlamery King Conservatives celebrate Kanye West for being political but demonize Taylor Swift for being the kind of political they don’t like. And yet, the “depolorables” dare call us snowflakes. Ian Blake Of course Swift is voting Democrat. She doesn’t want to lose all of her celebrity friends and endorsements. People, decide for yourselves! You don’t need a celebrity to tell you what to do. Linda Reyes Wright Swift will persuade millions of firsttime voters to vote Democrat. What is perplexing to me is that movie stars, musicians, athletes and other entertainers even feel the need to share their political views. Maybe I am alone here, but I could not possibly care less what their political leanings are. Keep your mouths shut and entertain us. Nothing more, nothing less.
