Max Scherzer, Nationals

Scherzer has been good for a long time, and he has been especially good since signing with the Nationals before the 2015 season. Even so, his recent form has been extra special — he has a 1.13 ERA in his last five starts and double-figure strikeouts in each game. Scherzer has 32 double-figure strikeout games in 81 starts for Washington, the most in baseball over that time period. (Chris Sale of the Red Sox is second, with 26.)
