Broncos’ keys to victory Who wins?

Broncos

Containing QB Russell Wilson will be the biggest key on defense, especially as Seattle lacks experience at running back and tight end. If OLBs Von Miller and Bradley Chubb can keep Wilson in the pocket and not let him scramble, CB Chris Harris and CB Bradley Roby should be able to lock down Seattle’s wide receivers. Denver’s secondary broke down against the Bills last season when QB Tyrod Taylor got out of the pocket and extended plays, and the Broncos can’t let the same thing happen against the Seahawks. On offense, QB Case Keenum needs to protect the football and lean on RBs Royce Freeman and RB Devontae Booker. That’s how Keenum succeeded running a well-balanced Minnesota offense last season.

Seahawks’ keys to victory

During the preseason, Keenum displayed poor footwork and overthrew receivers when he was flustered by opposing defenses. Seattle can disrupt Denver’s passing attack by getting in his face. On offense, the Seahawks will look to target CB Tramaine Brock, who might be the weak link in the Broncos secondary. WRs Doug Baldwin, Tyler Lockett and Brandon Marshall could prove to be mismatches for him.

Denver’s tough to beat at Mile High. Seattle will lean on Wilson’s heroics to keep it in the game, but the Broncos defense is too talented to be beaten by a single player. Broncos, 24-17
