Joey Bart, C: Bart, 23, can impact the game with his bat and glove. He destroys lefties with mammoth power and can shorten his swing to focus on contact to all fields. He’s an adept receiver with plus arm strength behind the plate. Bart broke his thumb this fall but should start 2020 at Class AA.
Marco Luciano, SS: Athletic, fast and strong, Luciano has a high ceiling with the tools to be an All-Star. He can reach the seats to all fields, hit for batting average and has the speed to steal bases. The 18-year-old has elite arm strength with the glove to stick at shortstop. He’ll head to Class A to start 2020.
Heliot Ramos, OF: Ramos is an exciting power/speed prospect who does everything well. He’s a solid situational hitter with a controlled swing, plus bat speed and natural strength. Look for the 20-year-old to return to Class AA, where he hit .242 in 95 at-bats last season.
Hunter Bishop, OF: The 10th overall pick in the 2019 draft, Bishop has all five tools at his disposal. The 21-year-old owns plus bat speed with elite raw power, and he should make better contact as he ages. Bishop stole eight bases with five home runs in his short-season debut and could make the jump to high A.
Logan Webb, RHP: Webb made his major league debut in August, posting a 5.22 ERA over eight starts. He pitches off his fastball with precision to any area of the zone, while a wipeout slider is his second plus pitch. The 23-year-old should pitch in the majors this spring.
