Fantasy value meter,
These players saw their fantasy values increase or decrease most based on their performances in Week 8:
Sizzlers
QB Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions: The Lions have a fairly easy schedule over the next four weeks with Minnesota, Washington, Carolina and Houston up next. Coming off back-to-back 300-yard games, Stafford can help you with your playoff push.
RB Giovani Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals: With Joe Mixon ailing, Bernard has touchdowns in each of his last three games. Against Tennessee, he scored twice, once rushing and once receiving, to go with his heavy usage in the passing game.
RB DeeJay Dallas, Seattle Seahawks: Filling in admirably for Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde, Dallas was on the field for 80% of Seattle’s total snaps. The rookie scored twice, catching all five targets.
WR Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans: Davis has at least 10 targets and a touchdown in back-to-back weeks.
WR Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers: Deebo Samuel’s absence certainly helps Aiyuk’s target share, with 14 receptions for 206 yards and a TD the past two weeks.
Fizzlers
WR Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys: Cooper had just one catch for 5 yards in another abysmal offensive showing for the Dallas offense. In fantasy, it’s fire-sale time with your Cowboys.
WR Nelson Agholor, Las Vegas Raiders: Coming off a 107-yard performance in Week 7, Agholor was a high-priority waiver pickup. However, he followed it up with two targets against Cleveland, catching neither.
WR Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers: After seeing a whopping 15 targets a week ago, Johnson was held to one catch for 6 yards against Baltimore.
RB Adrian Peterson, Detroit Lions: The future Hall of Famer has been phased out of the Lions’ offense in favor of rookie D’Andre Swift. In Week 8, Peterson had a season-low five carries for 7 yards.
TE Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins: Gesicki figured to be a security blanket in Tua Tagovailoa’s first NFL start. Instead, he had one catch for 8 yards.
