Lions’ keys to victory: While Detroit’s offensive line remains its strength, it’s going to be hard to run on the Bears’ defense. But there are areas of weakness in the secondary that the Lions should target. QB Jared Goff should take some downfield shots, where he can take advantage of a porous secondary. On defense, the Lions will have to contend with QB Justin Fields, who had a rough day against the Browns in Week 3. If Detroit can get pressure up front against a suspect offensive line, it could contain Fields in the pocket and prevent him from beating the Lions on the move.

Bears’ keys to victory: Chicago’s offense had a terrible showing against the Browns. Coach Matt Nagy didn’t do anything to help his young quarterback find success, and that’s going to be key as QB Andy Dalton will likely be sidelined another week with a knee injury. The offensive line needs to help get the run game going with RB David Montgomery to take pressure off Fields and open up the passing game. On defense, Chicago’s biggest concern is the secondary, which has been shredded. The Bears need a strong pass rush from OLBs Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn to force Goff into mistakes and alleviate pressure on a weak secondary.

Matchup to watch: Lions TE T.J. Hockenson vs. Bears’ LBs. Hockenson is the Lions’ most dangerous offensive weapon. The Bears’ Roquan Smith is one of the game’s elite, and he’s going to need to perform like it.

Who wins? Chicago’s defense should be able to do enough to win.
