Bears (2-2) at Raiders (3-1)
Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET, Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas TV: CBS
Tipico Sportsbook line: Raiders by 41⁄2
Bears’ keys to victory: QB Justin Fields looked much more comfortable in Week 4 as Matt Nagy designed a game plan that made sense for him. Chicago took more shots down the field and relied on the running game to keep the defense off balance. The Bears need to connect on shots to WR Darnell Mooney and WR Allen Robinson to keep the Raiders from loading the box to stop the run. On defense, look for the Bears to try to get pressure with their front five and to force QB Derek Carr to play behind the chains.
Raiders’ keys to victory: The Raiders are at their best when they can play balanced on offense. They like to use the rushing attack to set up play-action passes to WRs Henry Ruggs and Bryan Edwards. If Las Vegas can stay ahead of the chains and play an efficient style of offense, the Bears might have a hard time slowing them down. On defense, look for Raiders defensive coordinator Gus Bradley to load the box and force Fields to hold the ball and make big-time throws down the field. The Raiders can’t let Fields make plays outside of the pocket if they want to win this game.
Matchup to watch: Bears LB Khalil Mack vs. Raiders RT Alex Leatherwood. Look for the Bears to move Mack all over the field, but for him to see a majority of snaps against the rookie right tackle for the Raiders.
Who wins? With the Raiders coming off a Monday night loss, Chicago will try to exploit a tired defense for Las Vegas. This is likely to be a low scoring game with the Bears narrowly winning.
