Salesforce gets Dreamforce going
Every year, Salesforce invites its clients and developers to an annual gathering of the tribes called Dreamforce. This year’s attendance is projected to top 150,000, significant given San Francisco is home to 800,000, and required CEO and founder Marc Benioff to order up a cruise ship to help with accommodations. Just how big is Dreamforce? Consider that the Big Kahuna of all tech events — the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas — last year drew 170,000.
