What’s new on streaming for May

Highlights from streaming services including Netflix, Hulu and Amazon:

MAY 1

Mr. Show With Bob and David: The Complete Series (HBO Go; Amazon, May 21). Before they were Saul Goodman and Tobias Fünke, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross were the writers and stars of this HBO sketch series from the mid-1990s.

Line of Duty (Hulu). The complete third season of the popular British police procedural is available.

MAY 2

Jack Irish (Acorn). This six-part thriller stars Emmy winner Guy Pearce as a criminal lawyer turned private investigat­or from the Peter Temple novels.

MAY 3

Joy (On Demand). Jennifer Lawrence earned her fourth Oscar nomination for this biopic on Joy Mangano, the woman who invented the Miracle Mop.

MAY 4

Star Wars: The Force Awak

ens (On Demand). The 2015 sequel broke every box office record imaginable; now it’s on your cable system just in time for Star Wars Day.

MAY 5

Marseille (Netflix): In this French-language drama, Gérard Dépardieu plays an outgoing mayor who realizes he has to run again after learning that his handpicked successor (Benoît Magimel) is actually a powerhungr­y politician out to destroy him.

MAY 6

Grace and Frankie (Netflix). Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda return as housemates helping each other cope after their longtime husbands (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) marry each other.

MAY 10

Deadpool (On Demand). Ryan Reynolds finally found the right superhero match for his muscles and wit in this story of a Special Ops soldier whose successful cancer treatment came with some interestin­g side effects. (Green Lantern who?) Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (iTunes; On Demand, May 31). Jane Austen’s Bennet sisters have more on their minds than snagging wealthy husbands — they’ve got to keep the undead in check.

MAY 11

Chelsea (Netflix). The talk show host returns with a three-times-a-week show.

MAY 16

Humans: Season 1 (Amazon). This AMC drama explores the ethical questions that come with having a sentient android servant. Season 2 is due later this year.

MAY 25

The Path (Hulu). Season 1 of the religious cult drama starring Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan and Hugh Dancy reaches its end.

MAY 27

Bloodline: Season 2 (Netflix). Season 2 of this dark family drama, set in the Florida Keys, starring Kyle Chandler.

Dios, Inc. (HBO Go). In this new HBO Latino series, Salvador Pereyra (Rafael Sánchez Navarro) returns home from Mexico after spending 10 years in the Middle East and finds out his discovery of the origin of God has been plagiarize­d and his family presumed him dead.
