FORMER BAYLOR STUDENT: BRILES’ APOLOGY INSINCERE

Jasmin Hernandez, a former Baylor student who says she was sexually assaulted by a former Bears football player, called exBaylor coach Art Briles’ apology Saturday insincere and said what she saw in the ESPN interview was consistent with Briles’ past behavior of putting himself first. “Actions speak louder than words,” said Hernandez, speaking on ESPN’s Outside The Lines. Hernandez was asked to watch a clip of Briles’ response to his breaking a promise to attend a mediation session to support Hernandez and her family.
