CLEMSON’S RENFROW HAS BROKEN HAND

-

Clemson starting wide receiver Hunter Renfrow will miss at least four games because of a broken right hand. The injury came on a 35-yard touchdown catch in the No. 3 Tigers’ 30-24 victory Saturday against Troy. Coach Dabo Swinney said an MRI on Monday showed a crack below Renfrow’s thumb and he could play but would have difficulty holding the ball and would need surgery. He caught two TD passes in the national title game against Alabama last season.
