Hillary Clinton emphasized her record of public service and proposals aimed at assisting working families in a campaign rally Thursday, returning to the campaign trail after a bout of pneumonia that she said gave her time to “sit down” with her “thoughts” and reflect on what matters most.

“I’ll never be the showman my opponent is, and that’s OK with me,” said Clinton, citing Donald Trump’s Thursday appearance on

The Dr. Oz Show. “I sweat the details” and “I am going to deliver for you and your family,” she said at the campaign event held at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Similar to her nominating convention in Philadelphia, Clinton focused on her biography over lobbing attacks against Trump, including her work on behalf of the Children’s Defense Fund as an Arkansas lawyer and her plans to help working mothers with paid sick and parental leave, as well as equal pay for women.

Clinton did not entirely pull her punches, though.

This week, Trump unveiled his own proposal for paid leave for new mothers, which the Democratic presidential nominee called “half-baked,” noting it follows “decades of ignoring and putting down moms.” She asked voters to “hold me accountable for my ideas and my opponent accountable for his.”

Clinton has been resting at her home this week after being diagnosed on Friday with what her doctor described as a mild bacterial pneumonia.

During an interview Thursday morning on the Tom Joyner radio show, Clinton pledged to release more medical records beyond a Wednesday letter from her doctor detailing her pneumonia and routine lab tests.
