THE HARRISONS
In honor of Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison’s bold stance, our weekly award for players and coaches in the NFL for people who didn’t even deserve a participation trophy for Week 7: CASE KEENUM, RAMS
It isn’t fair to blame him for all four interceptions Sunday. But the Rams offense just isn’t consistent with Keenum running it. And this is what gets him a Harrison: He has thrown an interception on the Rams’ last offensive play in three consecutive games. JARVIS LANDRY, DOLPHINS
His attempted block on Bills safety Aaron Williams was so high he almost needed a ladder to execute it. We applaud aggressive play. We bench people for perceived cheap shots. MARTY MORNHINWEG, RAVENS
The Ravens are 0-2 since they changed offensive coordinators. That can’t be blamed on Mornhinweg. But a rushing attack that featured 6 yards on 12 attempts Sunday? Yeah, we’re looking at you, Marty. DAN QUINN, FALCONS
We don’t mind coaches who take chances. But going for it on fourth down when the ball is on your side of the 50 in overtime is not a calculated risk. It is a silly decision and cost your team a chance at victory. VIKINGS OFFENSIVE LINE
We understand you have injuries. But you also have a great defense. All you really need to do is give your quarterback a chance, and you could make it all the way to the Super Bowl. To say you were overwhelmed by the Eagles defense is an understatement.
