Star Wars fans who dream of owning their own Millennium Falcon or living on a death star now can have the next best thing.

Nissan just introduced a limited-edition 2017 Rogue SUV themed around the latest Star

Wars movie — and it comes with a collectible Death Trooper helmet to go with it.

“The Nissan Rogue and the first Star Wars stand-alone movie share more than just a name,” Nissan Vice President Jeremy Tucker told USA TODAY at the Los Angeles Auto Show, where the Rogue One Rogue was introduced Wednesday, escorted by a squad of stormtroopers. “Nissan is doing the same with its indus- try-leading cars, trucks and SUVs, so it’s natural that the two join forces.”

The SUV ties into the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which comes to theaters next month.

The special Rogue will only come in the color of Star Wars’ bad guys — shiny white or black. The car has plenty of Star Wars references, from a Rogue One badge on the doors, to Star Wars emblems on the rear bumper and front door sills.

The Star Wars branding adds $1,990 to the price of the 2017 Rogue SV, which is equipped with the Sun and Sound Touring Package. But Tucker says the package will still be affordable, coming in at less than $30,000.

Those interested in the car and its special features will have to be quick as only 5,400 units will be made and sold across North America. “Once they’re gone, they’re gone,” Tucker says.

The 2017 Rogue is powered with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder gasoline engine that generates 170 horsepower.

The SUV — which has enjoyed three successful years of sales growth since a redesign in 2014 — will come equipped with a power panoramic moon roof, a Bose audio system and an expanded Nissan Safety Shield suite.
