Clemson places four on All-Bowl Team

From the New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 17 through Monday’s College Football Playoff national championsh­ip game, 80 teams across the Football Bowl Subdivisio­n participat­ed in bowl play this season.

Let’s look back at the top individual performanc­es of the postseason in naming the USA TODAY Sports All-Bowl Team, which includes five players who participat­ed in the national title game, a 35-31 win by Clemson against Alabama.

In total, 14 players on the All-Bowl Team participat­ed in New Year’s Six games.

There’s even a split at quarterbac­k. Between Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and Southern California’s Sam Darnold, who had an outstandin­g Rose Bowl, it was impossible to pick just one.
