Clemson places four on All-Bowl Team
From the New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 17 through Monday’s College Football Playoff national championship game, 80 teams across the Football Bowl Subdivision participated in bowl play this season.
Let’s look back at the top individual performances of the postseason in naming the USA TODAY Sports All-Bowl Team, which includes five players who participated in the national title game, a 35-31 win by Clemson against Alabama.
In total, 14 players on the All-Bowl Team participated in New Year’s Six games.
There’s even a split at quarterback. Between Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and Southern California’s Sam Darnold, who had an outstanding Rose Bowl, it was impossible to pick just one.
