DOLPHINS SET TO ACQUIRE THOMAS FROM JAGUARS
The Miami Dolphins agreed to acquire tight end Julius Thomas from the Jacksonville Jaguars in a trade, a person familiar with the deal told USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke on condition of anonymity since the deal was not official, as Thomas was approved to visit the Dolphins and take a physical. The Miami Herald was the first to report the deal, noting the Jaguars are expected to receive a 2017 late-round draft pick. Trades can’t become official until the new league year March 9.
